I found two guns for sale I was wondering if anyone could tell me about them. The first one is a remington model 48 with a poly choke for 170.00 and the other and the one I'm interested in finding out about is a savage that looks like a browning a-5 (auto 5) for 173.00 are these good deals. I bought a belgium browning for 300.00 from the same place. Thanks for your input

That sounds about average for the -48, they have the recoil action like the brownings, they kick a bit harder than the gas operated ones, the savages usually go for between 250-300 but closer to 250, pretty much the only differance is the savage does not have the magazine cutoff lever like the brownings, hope this helps, good luck...
