Going to take the Kayak out for stripers out this weekend, and thinking of trying Virmar Beach and or Smith Point. Any better suggestions? Where is the best place to put in? Thanks for any advice!

Virmar is a pain in the az with the stairs, back and forth with gear... but doable. Ive done worse to get the kayak in the water. Its at the very end of virmar beach rd off hacks neck rd. You can prolly do an image search online and find pictures. Im not familiar with any launches at smith point besides the marina. It would be hard for me to give up that info if I did. Access is a tough issue on the Northern Neck. The weather doesnt look too promising this weekend. Where are you coming from or do you live in Northumberland?
