Given the current monsoon we are having what is your opinion of bowhunting in the rain. How do you change tactics? Do you take only really good shots, do you track earlier so as to not lose the trail? Do you attempt to stalk since you've got cover? Since it is pouring and I am sitting here deciding whether to go out or not I thought I'd throw this out there.

If you go be sure to take your water wings. There are flash fool warning out.

You can expect some good activity between the weather cells. They wont move much at night while its raining so the daylight hours are super. Your right on about recovering your deer if the shot placement isnt good, just take your time and only take high percentage shots. If you put one in the wheelhouse tracking wont be a prob.. Great day for still hunting field edges this evening. If I didnt have this chest cold I would be out there myself!

I agree. Only good shots. Two holes thru the lungs they don't go far. If you don't see them drop track early. I have taken a few nice bucks in the rain. Good luck
