Went back to the Triangle today. Lines in at 6:00 A.M. Very slow start but limited around noon. Largest 39".

Warning: Do not go east of the red bouy line on the east side of the main bay shipping channel.
The area is a minefield of gill nets and crab traps. Lost two rigs here today and heard of many more. The best bite today seemed to be NW of #70.

My neighbors and my family have been very well fed for the lasst two weeks.

Question? Don't they have red and green flags giving you the direction of the nets? Are the crab traps, crab pots? I haven't seen a crab trap, what does it look like?

CR, we had a near miss with those nets yesterday too! What a great day out on the Bay. We had one of our best days yet and even had two fish (40" and a 41") on one tandem rig. Our biggest for the day was 43".

I got hung on a Nearly submerged crab trap float. Pots are made for cooking or Pissing in. Do you count beans or split hairs in your spare time?

Those nets are nasty up there for sure but we did real well maneuvering around them last weekend and its where we found most of the fish.
