First trip of the year. Launched out of Garretts Marina around 10:00 am with my son , fished Bowlers rock, the green number 11 of Belle Island, shell reef before Belle Island and a few other promising spots.
Wind made fishing a little difficult, real slow bite for Croaker. No real consistency on depth either saw fish at 20-24 feet , as well as ten feet. Seemed 14 -16 was the magic number for us on Sunday. We caught a total of 15 fish - 9 Croakers and 6 nice cats, biggest croaker was around 13 inches. released several smaller ones.
Overall wasn't a bad day other than the wind, enjoyed being out on the water and spending some quality time with my son
