I just bought a1989 basstracker and would like to know if it's possible to cut most of the forword deck from the side console to about a foot or two from the bow without hurting the structure. I would like to open it up and leave a place in the bow for storage.

Im pretty sure there are some cross beams there the are supports so i wouldnt adivese it. Id recommend consulting a dealer and looking over the manual before you do anything for sure.
