Pulled a dock line into my prop. I have a keel drive inbourd so the prop is about 2 feet before the back of the boat (not real easy to get to). Luckily, I'm in my slip. Plan A is to walk the boat into the shallows, duck tape a sharp knife to my boat hook, and start sawing away. Plan B is a diver.

Any other tricks you have heard of or used would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you contact Skip (27 Sailfish) on the Chesapeake board He is a diver and is a very helpful guy.

Been there, done that. After a few dips to get used to the water it's not too bad going under the boat with a sharp knife. I was in open water so a slip shouldn't be too bad.

Someone linked this to to me.
If the line is still caught - contact me by P mail.
Simple job with scuba gear - done fair amount of them.

His boat is in Annapolis , Md.
Met him and took care of it.
Wrapped up tight but came out in two pieces.
Real murky due to silty water.
