Enough with all the wind

Got my anchor set on the sweet spot and had an incoming tide. Rods never stopped going down.. Well till the tide stopped and the wind kicked up. Then it is try again in a couple more spots. Got two sets of doubles just before tide died. A little sunburnt but all in all we got lots of fish and one nice one.

I hear ya on the wind! Sheesh. Tried above Chain Bridge this morning with the fly rod and the wind just caused havoc. One WP for the effort. Bummer...

BTW, nice kitty action you got going on. Question(s), in general, spring or fall for size? Spring or fall for numbers?

Spring for size and fall for numbers of big fish. This year did not see any cats over 54 lbs in the spring.....a little odd but that is fishing sometimes.
