cool. What do you plant and how do you care fot it? I have a food plot on my little peice that was in when I bought it, but overgrown. I'm not sure "what" it is. I mowed it and left a deep patch to watch and it looks like the game likes the mowed section best. I've seen multiple deer and some turkey in it. Mine is a secluded corner that looks just like yours! I'm planning to replant it in the spring.

my father, brother, and I have been working these food plots for almost 10 years now. we have tried about everything someone tells us, and many things we have thought of. in the picture you can see high and low areas of growth. we found out last year that the deer do not like clean cut pastures as much as the do, high bushy stuff. we now cut our fields in a checkerboard pattern. in that field our main crop failed and we cut a U shaped band around the field and a strip down the middle. in the strip in the middle there is alfalfa, around the edge there is whitetail extreme and the dark green is just plain annual rye grass. my brother watched several deer jump over the low areas and eat in the high grass. the turkeys seem to like the rye grass though. in the spring fawns were found laying in the high areas, one was only minutes old. so if you are planning on planting food plots, keep some areas high and you will be happy with the results.
