COLD weather or (coolder) is coming after todays storms bringing snow to the upper regions forcasted lows are in the mid 20's for thursday night and highs at 50 degrees until turkey day! just maybe this will kick things into gear or atleast make it feel like hunting!

I left my satnd this morning at 7:00 too warm!! could not even see breath. I did stalk to with in 15 yards of a walking spike, I looked up and seen a body moving ahead of me. the ground was quite and so was I as he winded me eventualy @ 10 yards.

Please get cold! think I will just walk in hunt at Fishing bay this evening let the woods settle.

I was taking Friday off but changed my plans to hunt tomorrow. I think it is going to be the day. Those bucks will be amped up tomorrow after this big temp drop. Bring it on!! Good luck to all, I hope to here some buck stories after these next two days.

Call me crazy.....but the older i get the less I like the cold. I can hang with the best of them duck hunting but when it comes to deer hunting in a tree....I like to be comfortable.
70 may be warm but 30/40 for the low and 60's for the high.....it gives you the best of both worlds. A good crisp morning and a comfortable afternoon. My two cents.
