What Choke to use

I have a 870 Express I am going to use this Saturday. We are hunting the Eastern shore and my buddy says we are going to use 00 buck. What choke will give me the best grouping at like 25-50 yards?

Buckstopper from Greentop and 2 3/4 " 12 pellet OO. Slice and dice at 50 yards.

I would buy some Winchester 2 3/4" 000 Buckshot and shoot a few thru each choke and use the one that patterns the best. The 000's are without a doubt the best killers out there.

A full choke would be my choice.

Dorchester County is the ONLY county in Maryland where it is legal to shoot deer with buckshot. Not to piss on your parade , just a heads up.

How far were your shots with the buckshot and what pattern did you go with?

23/4 00 between 25 and 40 yards. I used my 870 with a full choke. I don't know how many pellets went in. I didn't see many areas of penetration on the doe. They both dropped right where they stood. The Spikes shoulder was ripped right open.
