Stopped by Polecat's this afternoon for a new trotline...
Jerry shared some great information and some real good stories/advice.... What a nice guy, could have stood there and talked all day ! He had eveything I needed at a good price...........
I'm ready to hit the crabbing grounds with my new, updated equipment !

Pete - You are right about Jerry - he is a very nice guy and extremely knowledgable - in fact if there is no answer that anyone's come up with for a given problem - Jerry will normally come up with a solution.
Good luck with your new gear - looks like a good year by the way things are starting out!

No doubt. Sara and I stopped over at Jerry and Mary's place last weekend to pick up a few early season supplies, and it was the same for us. Good information and great conversation.
And then, of course, there's that little convenience of Jerry living so close to the Box Hill Pizzeria. Man, them crab cakes are good!

I seam to get more active here this time of year.... go figure LOL
I'm making my snoods as I type (actually took a break to type)....... Hope to get out this weekend, but not looking promising... Might be during the week, next week....
