View Full Version : Fishing Report Flounder fishing at 42

Left early this morning and went to 42. Drifted and then started trolling and:clapping2: not much going on. About 12:00 they turned on north east of 42 in 44 feet of water. Trolled in a small area and ended up with 6 keepers and lost several nice ones including one at least 5 pounds within 2 feet of the net. My son-in-law was heart broken. All of the kids and grandkids ended up at my house for fried flounder and hush puppies. All in all a very nice Memorial Day!!!

I got there around noon also and my wife caught 4 nice flounders ! Largest was 25 inches and 6lb 10oz's! I heard you on the radio. I was a little north and west of you. We lost several more fish. I guess its starting!

Glad you got 'em Frank. Pop and I had four keepers south of the 42 in deeper water on Sunday. Our fish turned on around 11am, so it looks like they are getting hot with the tide change. Let's get together here soon. Hope that website works out for the water temps.
