Just heard RP was a parking lot today... Crabs were there, but so were a ton of crabbers.....

Good luck to you and your little crabbing partner!

My daughter recently moved to Towson and I am looking for a launch site for a crabbing trip with her and my grandsons later this month. On a visit there a few weeks ago I visited Rocky Point Park to check out the boat launch. I'm guessing that this ramp is used hard and will get full(close when full). Are there other launch sites in the area that would be better. Thanks for any info or advice you can give me.

Baltimore County has ramps at Cox's Point Park and Wilson Point Park, they are the closest ones to Rocky Point besides Rocky Point Park ramp, here is more info

Never seen Rocky Point Full/Closed. Only been going there a few years though.

Thanks for the responses. I also checked Cox's point when I visited Rocky point and was concerned that there did'nt seem to be much parking. I didn,t know about Wilson Point and will have to make a visit. If Rocky Point isn't usually full I'll launch there unless I like Wilson Point better. I would like to put in at dawn but with family I probably won't make it and was mostly concerned about getting shut out.

Wilson Point has plenty of parking and an easy / new dual ramp.
