Started around 6:00-10:00 Crabbed the Low outgoing tide. Used 30 Collapsible traps-Crabbing was slow at first then Good and then just died...... Managed to get another Very good bushel of Crabs Worked in the 4-7ft range of water and the water temperature was @ 78. Caught a ton of 5" ones, didn't keep em though only kept the 5-1/4 + ones. Caught Zero Females today not sure why on that one? Caught several two at time again and a bunch of paper shells (at least 3 + dozen-thrown back to fatten up for next week..... All of the crabs kept today were in the 5-1/4" - 7" p/p range and a few were over the 7" mark. Overall It was a great day again!!

Great job! I am debating using traps. Are they pretty user friendly?

Very nice job, congrats. On your trap floats do you unclip them and store them like in your pics or is the line still attached to them? I'm mostly a trotline guys, my topless traps always seem to get very tangled.

Good job, you allways seem to get on 'em. I ain't got to go again but will try this week.
I'm rebuilding the carbs on the boat trying to solve this fuel issue.
I heard last weekend was slow for some but good for others. Go figure?

Traps are good for kids but back breakers for older adults. The kids should probably wear some light gloves as their hands are tender and with being in water and pulling the line up, they get pretty sore. Trot line is the way to go but more expensive and more involved............Gary

Topless are unattached with 12' of line on each So i can adjust to the depth, the foxy mates are atttached.

Gary-I'm Sure Trot line is the way to go. I bought a roll of 1200' line and it's still rolled up. (Trot liners have not done well in the same place-past few weeks In Time they will out do me) But that's OK I’ve had such good luck with traps It's hard to switch.
And yes the Gloves are needed-And on the back thing you’re somewhat right some days it hurts and others not. Today it’s OK...
