Took a charter of good friends up the bay to some structure for some flounder fishing. I was not expecting to much but had hopes of catching something. I was plesantly surprised with the day.
Weather was perfect drifting was good and the fish decided to cooperate. Caught at least 16 flounder and kept to at 20 and 22 inches. Also had a bluefish and a small sand shark and that was the day. The fishing was good till the tide change and after the full run of incoming they shut down for us. Did not have a bite for a few hours till we decided to just call it quits for the day.
The charter had a blast and had some fish on top of the fun filled day.
I hope the action only gets better in time. Seen a lot of bait and schools of fish on the screen so hopefully the start is here.
I hope to pick up some more charters so I can keep the reports coming,
I forgot the camera for some reason, I already threw it in the bag for next trip

Till the next report

Nice Job Capt... when you say up the bay, how far up the bay???
Trying to learn that area on maps & charts and reading posts before I head down.....

I'm thinking of launching from Cedar Creek soon...was that above or below? (Not looking for your spot...just learning a lay of the land)

Thx

I fish out of lewes, so I traveled around 10 miles to the structure up the bay.
I was suprised that they were biting so good this early but I guess it is time
