I have 08 alumacraft I bought because it was versatile and affordable. I was also able to buy it brand new with warranties and what not. Now my little girl is getting to the age where she wants to fishing more often and my wife wants to be able to lay out while I fish. So anyways to cut to the chase Ive outgrown the boat and want to get something in the 19 to 21 ft range. preferably a bay boat or a carolina skiff dlv. Because there versatile and I can put a trolling motor on the the front and striper fish freshwater and hit the bay from time to time. I will probably be doing a little watersports also. I dont wanna break the bank but I dont wanna buy junk either. Im debating on buying a used about a year or 2 old and was seeing if any of you have had any lick buying used and if you have a good recomendation on what type of affordable boat to look into.

I've had a 2002 SeaPro 2100 Bay that I've been pretty pleased with. They made a 17-18', a 21 and a 23 (I think) Has a nice casting/layout deck up front. the 02 had a vertical hatch; later years may have had a horizontal (deck) hatch up front. It's rated for 9 passengers, which is why I bought it, plus I liked the lines. Good luck
