Anyone been gunning Assateague lately? Any luck?

WENT DOWN TO THE SAND ISLANDS ON MONDAY ONLY SEEN 4 BLACKS A FEW BRANT NOT MANY BUFFIES .
I WOULD'NT GO BACK ANY TIME SOON

duskydog, me and a couple of buddies hunted the Sika hunt on assategue refuge a week ago and we saw good numbers of brant and blackducks, we talked to a guide down there in a resturant and he said they were doing pretty good I believe his name was Randy but not sure, we saw more ducks there than in the southern end of Virginia.

That would be Randy Birch. He runs out of Chincoteague
and has blinds off of the refuge near the impoundment.
Lots of times the Chinc. end holds more ducks than the N end.
