Late season doves

Trying them today in K&Q. Y'all seeing any. We tried them yesterday down rt 5 but only saw 2. We are not killing many ducks at all and must chase something else. This weather is awful, Hope Jan. brings the nasty sh.

I saw a fair amount the other day south of Richmond while waiting for the geese that never flew until after shooting hours. I was wishing I had been hunting doves instead.

My son and I killed a couple of limits yesterday with our new Franchi's, that santa droped off. We saw a good number of birds, but the were hard to hunt. They were coming in flocks, and moving and lighting away from us. I had to do alot of walking to keep them flying. It was good to burn some powder and try the new guns though. My son wants to go again today so maybe we can do it again.[excited][excited]

The hunt we went on Wed. pm was very good for some. We were 1 field away and only shot at a few. 500 yds away they were burning them up.
