In the woods at 6:00am. As first light arrived, I hear the twigs snap. Nice doe at about 60yds angling toward me. I pick the window and pull the trigger at 40yds. Deer down!! Field dressed and dragged out by 8:00am.
Went to the truck and pulled out my shot gun and then to the corn field where two friends who were goose hunting. A few birds worked our decoys, but no luck. Around 10:00 am, we had three cupped and on there way in. I let the other two shoot first and then I shot and dropped the tail end bird.
One nice deer and a bonus goose. I got home and my wife wasnt mad at me for anything!! What a morning.
