I am heading to OC in the mourning with boat and traps in tow. I was wondering where I should try my luck and if anyone would know where to get razor clams there

1) you won't need razor clams. Chicken necks will work as well and are cheaper.
2) you are only allowed 25 traps, not 30
3) you can keep mature sooks any size in the coastal bays and your catch will probably be mostly sooks this time a year. Some will have eggs.
4) There is no time limit, closed days or license required
5) 5 inches is the size limit all season long.
6) rays and skate will try to eat your bait...(see number 1)

I would recommend behind Assateague or up above the 90 bridge in about 5 feet of water and out of any really swift current.

Very good crabbing above Rt 90 bridge but the crabs are smaller than Chessie crabs..........Gary

i went crabbing in the oc bay this time last year, and 90 percent of the crabs on the line were like an inch long.

we must have been in a nursery or something.

we were near the st martin river.
