Was just wondering how may of ya'll live in VA as I know alot of people on this site are from all over the east coast. I live in Virginia Beach. I also post on Vadeer.com which is a VA hunting forum. Lota good folks and a couple regulars that are prostaffers for the big companies.

I've only been in state sence Nov. 15th. I know where Richmond is as I passes through it on the 64. [smile] As for counties I gotta consolt with Mr. map.[grin] I could got a licence and tage but passed as finding a place to live and get settles actually seemed more of a priority than hunting. I know but its the only excuse I have thats true.[sad] But I plan to hunt anything and everything I can. Being active duty Navy I have to manage my leave accordingly. I'm on stand by fot another trip to the middle east. My 3rd in fact.

Great hunting.. There is some state land here in the county that you can hunt... Some real nice deer have been taken in the past years...

BB, looks like you live right close to me. I'm on the other side of S. Plaza Trail, near the school.

Since I don't have the connections and don't care to join a club, I hunt public land in GW Forest. Chickahominy is a bit crowded for my comfort.

you live by winsor oaks elementry. Or is it winsor woods. My daughter goes to the school just north of south plaza on presadential. Its only a half mile from my place.
