:fishing2:Been watching all the "rain minnows" (thx Skip) with not alot under them. Saw a couple bigger splashes the last couple days, hopefully that means the bigger predator fish are coming into the upper river now.

Saw a fat 18 inch take out a bunch of those minows in 12 inches of water this am...get the poppers ready....

While riding my bike a week ago over the Naval Acadamy Bridge at dawn, I saw some breaking bait (likely anchovies) and a few dozen BIG swirls. I wished I had a fishing rod holder on the bike. Seems we have some decent fish in the Severn, and now your report proves it.
