Hey fellows,

I have a friend who is travelling up from NC to a family reunion around DC. He's looking to provide crabs for the reunion and asked me if I knew a good place to buy crabs along the I-95 corridor. He'd also be interested in some rockfish if the same seafood joint had them available.

Well I live on the eastern shore but I told him I'd try to find out. What better place than here?

So anybody know a good place to buy crabs and maybe some additional seafood not too far off of 95? Doesn't have to be too close to DC but I'd say maybe above Fredricksburg or thereabouts.

Thanks

Steamed or live? If live call 443 324 0101 ask for Rob (Big Natural Crabbing) inc. Based in Balt. Co but will travel to meet up. Nicest crabs I've seen, and good prices to!

If he is up from NC tell him to haul them up. I was down last week and the price was $30-35 a bush for males, I KNOW HARD TO BELIEVE BUT TRUE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE ATE CRABS ALL WEEK.

Buy local MD crabs. Commercial Watermen help you live better. Atleast that is what my bumber sticker says. ;-)

VA watermen need love too :)

I know a place but it's an hour and a half from Fredericksburg. Also if it's for July 4th weekend you are going to be praying a premium for them. They will start to drop after that.

I think I got that same sticker at the OC watermans Expo a few years back
