I've had a Navman 4500 w/ fuel flow sensor....I really liked it...easy to operate. Well, it is 6 years old and it finally bit the dust.
Any suggestions for a replacement...? I want to keep it under $500.

Spent the day checking all electrical connections...everything is good. I found out that Navman was sold to Northstar Marine, so I called their tech support. The technician told me that the problem was the unit, but gave me a procedure to try and clear the error....didn't work. The best part was when he calmly told me that it would cost $300 just to look at it. I did really like the Navman, because it had the additional features of the fuel flow monitor and engine hour meter...easy to operate, etc. Unfortunately, I think I will have to go w/ something else....maybe a Garmin 400C and a separate flow sensor and hour meter.
