Is it worth it to go yak fishing from Jonas Green ?

I've never gone there before but thought it might be less crowded than trying to put in at SPSP or Hemmingways.

Could anyone share with me how they've done fishing out of JG ? Do the the Severn river bridge pilings, etc. hold fish ?

I've yet to boat a striper or blue from my yak so i wanted to go out and give a try.

Jonas Green is a good place to launch in Sept\Oct\Nov when the bigger Stripers move into the river. If you launch there now I would hit the side creeks in the area and target White Perch on Beetle Spins and Mepps inline spinners. You may also pick up a few small Stripers. If you want keeper size Stripers then your best bet is probably SPSP or Hemmingways or head south to Breezy Point.
