Sorry Guys,
I'm sure this has been asked before, BUT. Can I use 30 topless traps plus upto 1200ft of t.line at the same time from one boat if two people have a lic. ?
Reading the book it looks like you can use both ? I have a call into DCNR but no call back. Just want to be double sure. Sorry, and thank you in advance.

Yes... but I do not see how you could do it efficiently. It would take to much time to do both all you would be doing is feeding crabs and wasting bait.

I enjoy doing both. Sometime you'll see that the either the line or the traps are running much better and you can hit it back to back. IMO - I don't think its a waste... GOOD LUCK!

You don't need two licensed people to use both...........but it helps! The more ammo you have the better!!..Good luck on getting answers from DNR.:eek2:.........Gary

It doesn't take no time at all to run that gear. Actually it should work out good with the extra soak. Just be sure to but the baits in nice and tight.

DNR called me back about an hr. after I posted. He was a little unsure at first ....then said YUP you can use both at same time. He was very polite and seemed like a good guy. We crabbed the upper bay and towed in 36 jumbo's Thursday with 30traps ....LOL , DNR guy said I wouldn't do well there !
