View Full Version : Wye Millls dead crabs and fish ???

Was there today crabbing and noticed not one or two dead but many more floating on top of the water. There was even some large catfish as well. This peaked our attention, and we took the boat on a sandy beach and noticed many more. There was large ones and small ones dead on the beach. My father and I kind of got freaked out about the water quality. Did anybody else notice this today ? What could it be that did them in ?:eek2:

According to one post on TF, they found toxic materials when rebuilding the ramp, but the ramp construction was not stopped to clean it up. Maybe it should have been cleaned before they reopened the ramp??

They found toxic materials THAT WERE ALREADY THERE? Or they discovered something toxic in the new materials being used to rebuild the ramp?

They found them already there. They stirred them up real good when they built the new ramp...
