Anyone heard of this?
I thought I read about it, but cannot confirm on VDGIF site.

It went out the end of Jan. I think... They are nesting in the spring so hunting would not be good in my opinion.

I know I read it, I think it was in the Va game and fish.
I have not seen it on the VDGIF site.

I think that in many game management circles it is thought that between the losses in the number of hunters and the lack of interest in small game hunting that the seasons can be greatly lengthened.
I learned to hunt by hunting squirrels and have not really done it in years eventhough our woods are over-run with the tree rats.

THE MARYLAND SEASON ENDS FEBRUARY 28, it only goes until March 31 for falconry.
At least that is what is on DNR's website under forest game.
