Meals on reels

Ok, so here goes, crabbed, 7/4 with my younger brother who was in town for the holiday with his family. Now on 7/2 we messed around for 2 hours in the afternoon with 600 foot of line and got 32 nice crabs. But Mike wanted to try some serious choice crabbing. the two of use started at 7 am so already we arent all too serious:wacko:, We put out 1200 ft, all necks, and proceeded to get a choice bushel of 6.25 inch and up crabs, unbaited both lines and off the water by 11am. He really was picky, and i am happy that the crabs cooperated.
Ok so now the question, we got over 2 dozen doublers, no I didnt keepe them, but i thought the shed matched the moon phase. The shed was over on the eastern shore last week according to all my eastern shore friends. Does the shed really match the moon to some extent, or is the shed kind of constant depending on how lucky you are to catch the doublers?:help:
