I have never hunted a day in my life.....I tasted some goose a few weeks ago and ...I'm now hunting CG's.....How much season do I have left...I live in Saint Mary's County....and how much is it gonna cost me to get a lic? I have experience with weapons so that's not a problem....I don't know what to use though.....Help me out fella's

Goose season is out till fall, If you have never hunted them, there not that easy, BUT you must find a good farm that holds them and get permisson oor join a lease.

I have a few breasts left that I'm going to have turned into goose sticks.

Check out the DNR website (www.dnr.state.md.us) for the lowdown on goose hunting regulations.

For public land goose hunting, they are possible to hunt on the water. You can call them to water after they come out of the fields in the late afternoons and in the evenings. A good spread is expensive, but definetly helps!

The best way to hunt them is to get on a good field...which basically means private land. A lot of guys join hunting clubs to get access like this.

Does experience with firearms mean you took the hunters safety coarse? If not you need to show proof when going for your lisence. Get a good 12 gauge and goose calls , flag, decoys, dog and maybe a boat, Get ready for September!!!Good luck
