Whats up with the Razor clams

I just tried to order razors and it seems that over the holiday weekend, supply has been a problem.Everyone I have talked to said they have been shorted on their orders.Ive heard everything from a strike by the clammers to someone trying to corner the market.Anyone heard anything?

Clammer had a hard time of it due to the wind last week. They will be back, but in my opinion there is no need for clams anymore with water temps up in the mid 80's, necks are fine.

Tried the switch last week,just didnt see the numbers with chicken.I agree its time, just still seeing better numbers with clam.

a clammer told e yesterday that the skates are annhilating the razor and soft shell clams...right now!!! this from the cooks pt area.

Those who know told me the big $$$$$ is in Manoes @ $115.00 per bushel.
Clammers have switched to harvesting them instead of Razors.
