4th of July out of Wachapreague

Finally got off to check out the tuna bite and man were the bluefin there!! Had the first fish on within 20 minutes of setting the spread. About a half hour after we got the sprea back out all hell broke loose...4 rods down at once!! 2 lost and 2 released. Got tired of releasing em so we started looking for dolphin. Got one chicken and a nice 21lb gaffer. Once we got tired of that we tried some deep dropping. On the second drift I lucked into a 17lb Golden Tile Fish and a Black Belly Rose Fish. Talk about tiring...reeling those things up from 600 ft of water, but what a rush for my first tile fish.:amen:

That tilefish is some incredible eating. Just some butter and it tastes like crab meat! Nice going!
