7/10/10 Winchester Creek/Chester River

Dropped the boat at the Narrows and made the short run over to Winchester Creek/Chester River. I used 25 topless traps and necks in 6' to 9' of water and managed a nice bushel of crabs all 6" to 8.5 inches. Everything under 6" went back and I crabbed from 6AM to 8AM. The rain is coming down and I just made it back home before the sky opened up. Go get'em.

That whole area looked busy today. I'm sure they did well. I'm pretty sure I have a nine inch crab in there. I will take a pic before it hits the steamer.

Need to go up towards Queenstown creek! Only a couple minutes away. Try in 6-10ft in front of the big rip-wrap shoreline in front of a homeowners home. That is on your way to Queenstown Creek. GL

MAN, that's a huge one.. Congrats ! The family looks mighty happy, and hungry LOL AWESOME !

Did pretty good yesterday on the W. shore, got a bushel of nice ones.
