Went out last week, heard a single gobble, set up, and after I coughed and scared six deer, decided to move. Moved to a place where I never hunt and there he was gobbling on a ridge. Set up and he came down the hill to my clucks and purrs after about a fifteen minute stand off. Came in all fanned out and strutting, then he went into the gobbler crawl and went under a log pile. I was thinking what the heck is he doing? I clucked one time, and up popped his head for a look and blammo at 25 yards. 21 pounds 10" beard and I am now a break the pattern believer. I broke my pattern of going to the same place every time I go and have the monkey off my back in the first week. Yeah buddy!

I have a picture if someone can post for me as I am technically inept.
