I went fishing on the 15 of July with my friend Jeff on the Severn River round bay and the tide was low coming in at 5am.The wind was calm,So we started out of Smith's Marina on brown's cove and went to hopkin's cove were the bait fish was everywere. We were catching perch just about every cast and the size was 6" to 8" so we left the cove and went to the outside of long point were we started working the piers and grass beds with my feather spinner baits and the perch were bigger 9"to 13" and the stripers 14" to 27".Nobody can tell my friend Jeff that my feather spinner baits won't catch stripers. We also caught nice yellow perch which we let go.We caught about 230 fish that day but my friend Jeff only took home 50 perch and one real nice striper and all the others we let go.If you are looking for me on the water I fish only the week days and I have a 16ft jon boat set up like a bass boat and the name on the sides is lake hooper.I'm the old fart in the cowboy hat.So if you plan to go good luck and god bless our troops.....................woody:yes::thumbup:

I like taking a new friend fishing each time I go,So if you know someone who would like to do some weekday fishing let me know. All I ask is they pick up the ramp fee at Smith's Marina and I will take one person out for a day of fishing with no bait and any fish put in the boat are yours.
