Hi all!
We're going to take a break from fishing today and do some crabbing. My 8 year old daughter is suddenly interested in crabbing (and doing a great job) so I want to encourage her as much as possible.
I moor at Breezy Point. Anyone have advice where to crab from BP?

I would head south into the Patuxant river and crab either shore line in 4-6 feet of water on a moving tide........Gary

You may want to check out Rockhold Creek in Deale.

Thanks guys!
Didn't make it south enough for PAX....the tolerance of the girls didn't allow for that long of a ride on the Albie, but did go to Parker's Creek. I think I'm a better fisherman, than crabber. Lots of 4 inchers. However, we had fun!
Wish I had seen the Deal suggestion Captain Dale. I'm seeing it too late, but it's now on my radar!
Thank you guys!!!!

We've been setting a few traps near shore just south of Breezy, south of Parkers. My friends have a place there and we are catching some crabs. This is my first real effort in crabbing. I saw the commercial guys pull their pots from about 5 feet of water past the sand bars and each pot is loaded with crabs but lots of small ones too.
Question about Parkers, can you get back inside it? I've never been in shore there.

You can get a boat in Parker's creek but not too far........Gary
