Does anyone out there know of a good deer processor in Montgomery county or near Poolesville, MD? My usual one stopped doing it for the 2010-2011 season and I'm looking for a new one so my wife (and tree hugging neighbors) won't freak with a deer hanging from the kids' swing set:eek2:.

I had the same problem when i lived in Montgonery county. I talked to the neighbors and we agreeded that I would call them in advance so (only one of them) they could close the shades. Now over time they got used to it and we would have them all over for football and deer chili. Well, they all loved it, even the tree huggers. so HANG YOUR DEER MAN! don't let this way of life go by the bye.

The only guy I know in Montgomery Co. is Bob Parker in Kensington. 301-946-1622. John Weed used to do deer to in Kensington but not sure if he still does............Gary

Bob P closing up shop gonna send a lot of people looking. I think next best is Mount Airy Bob could probably give you his name. I think that Teds advice is right on. Imho butchering your own is a skill that you need to compliment the killing side of the equation , also when you see what a bad shot does to your net yield you will be compelled to never let that happen again!
