I'll Keep this short and sweet.
Sunday 2 throwbacks 18 3/4" 16"
Monday Tuesday Wednesday, South wind 15-20 MPH, dirty water lousy fishing 1-2 throwbacks each day, 2' white caps.
Thursday calm wind good clear water at high tide 6 throwbacks 12"-16"
Friday more wind, went sharking. 4 duskies 36 " +/-
Saturday calm again 8 throwbacks, 12"-16", pulled boat.
Best consistant bait seemd to be 4" gulp swimming mullet in chartruse on 3/0 straight hook. Had them rigged top and bottom, but bottom hook on 20" leader caught most. Tie snap swivel on with palomar, leave 20" tag end, attach hook to this. Just bumping bottom seemed to produce more than jigging action.
Best overall fishing was on either side of high tide. Water was clean and 10* cooler than lower water.
Gulp outfished minnow/squid 4:1.
