It really does not get any better than what we have experenced the last few days fishing to the north of Cape May. We actually had all nine lines go down on Thursday's trip and I have never seen this happen before. We had 4-5 on at once a few times recently and on yesterday's trip (Friday) we boated 10 by 9:30 am and on our way home plus a few Mahi that weighed between 10-20 lbs. We also had a few Whites up in our spread and actually were trying to get rid of them as our charter wanted Yellowfins and Mahi not white marlin but this is charter fishing.
Some boats around us boated up to 16 Yellowfins and were on their way home by 9:00 am as well. Our group had enough after 10 and these were all very nice size tuna with most averaging around 60 lbs.
We may run a open boat on Monday or Tuesday of this coming week as we had a cancellation of our regular charter for Monday but I am going to make this call this weekend depending on the marine weather or early next week.
