Spent half the day getting the boat ready. In the water at 16:00, decided to troll a bit and picked up a nice fat 36" between "9 and St. Georges. The gannets are out and marked several pods of baitfish. I wish it was April 16 already.

P1, great report. Glad to hear that you got out and hooked up. We caught two in the same area last Friday after talking to you. Thanks for the report.

Also, I put the boat in the slip yesterday and she's ready to roll.

i too went down on fri. mechanic had not finished the new gauges and battery switch like he promised. So i unwinterized the ski-boat and rode around the creek for an hour or so. i bottom fished a little and had no takers. i guess the croaker have not moved up this far yet.

The croaker fishing is all catch and release....

Catch them and release them into boiling hot oil...[tongue]
