I would assume that the only thing biting in the rapp would be MUD SHAD . I crossed the blue grey parkway bridge and saw the river was good and swollen. I was in sunny FLA last week and was wondering if anyone had any luck on the shad and herring before the rain. Had a good week fishing the gulf coast in tampa area.

nope. before this flood there was another just a few days ago. at this rate it will be june before it clears up. i did visit the docks one muddy day and there were a half dozen determined but catchless fishing persons.

Same thing with the Mattaponi and Pamunkey. High water and muddy. Guess fishing will be on hold for a while. Did talk to a person today and they are catching cats down river from 360 bridges.
