Ran across to Poplar and found a small pod of birds on the N side and 14 boats chasing them... of course they didnt stay up long.
Decided to run through the cut and found some nice birds on the south side and had them all to ourselves for almost an hour. Caught them for almost an hour before the tide changed and a few more boats showed up.
Tried the rocks at sunset but I dont think the tide was working well and only had one strike.
Ended with 30-40 fish between me and pops and about 8-10 keepers but none over 23.
