View Full Version : Va. boat license valid in Md?
I am contemplating taking some friends striper fishing this weekend. Will be going out of the Great Wicomico and north to Md. waters where the season is in....I believe all on board are legal in Md. since I have Va. Boat license can board point me in the right direction for info. on reciprocity and Md. regs. ?.....Rolf

yes. md is good for va and vice versa...
Found Md. dnr site. Quick summary is: 1 fish over 28", No eels, no fishing at night, fishing limited to Bay...no tributaries or bays...Will post fshing report mon. 4-25 if we have any luck.........thanks rolf

If I remember right, MD also has a restriction on the number of hooks.
Might check it out.

MD only two hooks per line. However a multihooked lure such as a Stretch counts as one hook. A double hooked shad also counts as one hook.
