fished monday the mouth of the river around #65.
caught a 30 incher and lost one. had one knock down.
not a bad day.

Man I wish the brothers boat was back in the water.....Guess I should get off it and get one of my own. But I'd much rather put gas in his and supply the beer. What did you catch them on? It won't be long before it's time to get serious about getting on the water. Chris

I talked to Ricky at Rw's and he said some guy caught one 48 1/2 lbs 49 inches near coles point
We limited out Sunday 9 fish up to 27 lbs near 65

Hey fellows,
How were the fish caught trolling or chumming. If trolling what was the lure of choice.

we caught our trolling...the biggest on an umbrella wfb 6 arm. I think it was chartuese. it had to be white or chartuese. The fish were scattered in the water column. early Morning fish were caught on planer boards with tandem rigs..chart....later on they started hitting the wire rods with a mojo and a chute rig. chart. the mid range rods did some damage also with lighter mojos and chute rigs chart 150 ft back
