Sorry for late notice but there was a mix up with schedules for the August meeting.
Have to postpone until the following Thursday night.
Some SRRKCers asked to try alternating Weds / Thurs nights and leave it to me to mix it all up.
Quick show of hands - on the water or at a bar for next week ?

what mix-up? I doubt I'd make it anyway but had it penciled in.
Seriously if we go a year without meeting on the water then that is pathetic. I think we had 1 meeting on the water last year. Plus the "noone showed up" meeting thaty only John Veil and I attended (albeit separately).

Well , that is the spirit :thumbup::thumbup:.
On the water it is - on the 12th - weather permitting - at Weem's creek. 6:00 pm until the last boat leaves.
I can pick up people who are not able to get their boat in the water - just need a location.

I say plan the water meet and have a ( on the hard) bar for a weather alternate. Make the decision the nigh before.
How about a water meet in the "cut" behind Poplar Island? :) O.K. that's too far.... Spa creek, behind the bridge? Weems? Lake Ogleton? Mill Creek on the Navy side, inside the curvy channel?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do the "on the water" meeting....I will be in DC all day and my yak will be 35 miles the other way. Oh well!
I sent my check and I hope I can participate in the tourney! I will be on the Severn on Saturday (I know, lots of boat traffic).
