How do you rig up your chute rigs? I have seen the 3-way swivel way and others. How much leader? I need help. I will be trying this planer fishing very soon.

I believe Capt. Mike Quade suggested that you take 16 ft of leader. Use one third of it for the weight leg and two thirds for the lure leg. After the knots are tied you would have 5 feet from the 3way to the weight and 15 feet from the three way to the lure. The weight could be a dipsey sinker or a big MoJo. Use 80 to 100 lb. test clear mono leader.
