I'm not in any rush for fishing season to get over, but i've been watching the Deer hunting programs on the Sportsman and Hunting channels the last few days and it's kind of got me anxious for archery season to begin, which is in another 3 weeks here.

I also bought a Lowrance Endura handheld gps that i'm looking forward to playing with this fall. You can download satellite imagery and topo maps on it, view your trail cam pics/videos on it, and some other really hunter friendly stuff. Should come in real handy this fall.
If anyone's interested i'll try to post a review with some pics of it with the satellite imagery and topo maps.

I have been hunting whitetails for 40 years and it is just starting to get old. I never hunt early bow any more and the first time I go out will be early muzzleloader. Too hot and too many ticks and skeeters. I just hunt for meat any more as my walls are full and my wallet is empty. I still enjoy taking my 10 year old son to the stand. When I see a good frost I still get excited to hunt...........Gary
