August Sandbridge beach fishing

It's August an not a whole lot is going on, hear of 3-5' toothy critters and scattered saltwater panfish. Pups and yearlings should start to show up by end of the month/first of Sept. Now that I'm back from MI run, I'll be hitting Dam Neck, Sandbridge, or the Refuge beach w/Parko and Dixie this weekend :cool:

So a real time report is pending. From here out is more prep work for the Fall Sandbridge red drum run :bigfish:

Feel like letting someone tag along? I'm not running conventional gear yet, but I've got a 12' OM spinning rig set up and plan on fishing dam neck/sandbridge when I get back up that direction. (Currently in MS)

No problem. We will be fishing Sandbridge beach the next 4-6 weeks for reds including giving the surf fishing class at Back Bay NWR Saturday Sept. 25th 1-5pm.
