I am still trying to decide if it's too early for the flatties at the Cell. I fished the Gwynn's island area Sat & Sun and was thinking about making a run out there but the wind made the decision for me. Heard a charter boat talking about picking up a few keepers in that area on Sun. Good luck

Thanks. Might end up rockin'. Tearin' the a55 out of them at the bridge tunnel area...What about Smith Pt? Little place near there heated up last year. Have also seem them drifting near rt 3 bridge in Rapp but do they catch many bigguns there? Cell is long ga$.

Fished the Smith Point area today lines in about 7:30 and had our limit of 7 fish by 9:00 am

Three years ago on May 15 I limited out on flounder up to 5.5 lbs. at the cell. I didn't record the water temp. but I think they should be there by now. There have been a couple of citations already pulled from 36A area this year. This weekend looks like another blow-out for the cell. (N 15 - 20, seas 3-4) Looks like my boat will get alot of attention at the dock this weekend.

Friggin' wind only blows on the weekend. With 30 years till retirement I might just go insane. Pass the whiskey.

Sundays forecast seems to be improving (west 5 - 10 seas 1 ft.)
However I don't like to fish the leading edge of a low pressure system. It seems there is a better bite after a system has settled in for a few days. What to do? Early season, expencive fuel, leading edge of a front all the reasons not to go but I have a day off. I'll probably be out there.
